Haven is available for three different stages - our A2 Protein Infant Formula contains a nutritionally complete diet for infants from birth to 6 months; our Haven A2 Protein Follow-On Formula has been created to complement baby’s first foods from 6-12 months; and Haven A2 Protein Toddler Milk Drink will keep those tums feeling full and content from 12 months+. The primary difference between the Infant Formula, Follow-On Formula and Toddler Milk Drink is the balance of milk proteins. All formulas have whey and casein proteins but in different proportions, to mimic the proportions found at a similar stage in the breastfeeding journey. It is important for an infant who is formula fed from birth or under 6 months to be fed with a whey dominant formula.
Our Infant Formula is whey dominant and has a similar proportion of whey and casein to breast milk (61% whey, 39% casein). Our Follow-On Formula is also whey dominant but in a slightly lower percentage (57%, 43% casein). Our Toddler Milk Drink is casein dominant (42% whey, 58% casein) which keeps your child feeling full for longer, due to casein being slower to digest than whey.
